Faithful Navigator’s Corner – October 2021

October is the Month of the Holy Rosary for the Catholic Church. Fr. Matthew Mauriello of the University of Dayton wrote that the development of the Rosary took place in the High Middle Ages. The liturgical Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7th. The celebration was created to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she provides the Church in answer to the praying of the Rosary by the faithful.

October is the beginning of Fall, and a great season for sports fans. Growing up in Dayton, I always looked forward to playing and watching Football. Like Super Bowl Champions, WE need to build a great organization. During this month our Assembly is ready to add new members to our Team. We need your help in recruiting. We will be making a great effort this October, to Grow. Third Degree members can join our Assembly by filling out a Form 4 and attending the 4th Degree Exemplification next month.

Please join me in asking our councils to strongly consider joining our Assembly, Many thanks to Brother Dan Murphy, DD, for his strong efforts in soliciting new members. I look forward to carpooling with FC Anthony Primiani and a group of new Candidates, on the drive to new La Neve’s in Haledon, on Sunday November 21st.

Our next two meetings will be held in High Bridge. Many thanks to Faithful Pilot Bill Smith and others who made this great location possible

See you Monday October 25th, 7:30pm, at St. Joseph RC Church, 59 Main Street, High Bridge, NJ 08829.

Thanks and Vivat Jesu!
