What is the Metuchen Diocese Chapter (formerly Chapter 4)?

For many years, brother knights have gotten Chapter 4 and the Fourth Degree confused.  Some thought they were the same thing or you had to be a Fourth Degree knight to attend the Chapter. To clear up the confusion, the Chapter changed its name to “The Metuchen Diocese Chapter.” The chapter consists of member councils of the Metuchen Diocese. It handles larger projects that a single council usually cannot. Over the last year, the chapter has

•     helped purchase two ultrasound machines,

•     raised $15,000 to send a seminarian to World Youth Day in Portugal, and

•     held the Pride in our Priests dinner.
